A native of the Outaouais region with over 2 million listens on digital platforms since 2017, Ghys Mongeon is taking Quebec stages by storm with his vibrant energy and rousing music! He released his debut album À soir on sort in 2017. With his radio hits “Enweye à maison” and “La pêche”, the latter’s video having had over 250,000 views, the singer launched his professional career in Quebec. A second album, Chasser l’ennui, was released in 2020.
Winner of the Gala Country award for Songwriter of the Year and Country Album of the Year in 2022, Ghys Mongeon continues to build on his success, thrilling concert halls across Quebec. In 2024, his third album, Une autre raison d’boire, was released to immediate success, taking the singer to new heights. The album is number 6 on the Quebec digital and physical sales charts, and his song “Ça sent l’sofa à soir” entered the BDS Top 100. Ghys Mongeon is definitely setting the Quebec country scene on fire!
