Jay Scøtt
Terrebonne-based singer-songwriter Jay Scøtt is a versatile artist, mastering rap, vocals, piano, guitar, ukulele and beatmaking. Active on the Montreal scene for a decade, he has made a name for himself with his eclectic style blending pop, rap and folk. In 2017, he launched his Jay Scøtt project with the album “god” and the EP “EM0G0D”. His hit “Copilote” with FouKi, taken from the album Grignotines de Luxe, was a runaway success, reaching #1 on the radio charts and racking up millions of listens and views.
In 2021, Jay Scøtt signed with 117 Records and released his first official album Ses Plus Grands Succès, which won the Félix for folk album of the year at the 2022 ADISQ Gala. His song “Broken” is certified Gold by MusicCanada. He continues to perform live, releasing a new album Toutes les rues sont silencieuses in September 2024.
