Sara Dufour<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A real firecracker! That\u2019s the perfect way to describe Sara Dufour. The brilliant singer-songwriter from Dolbeau-Mistassini already has an EP and three albums to her credit. Since the release of her debut album, \u201cD\u00e9panneur Pierrette,\u201d in 2016, she has toured Quebec and France and racked up accolades (ADISQ, SOCAN, the SPACQ\u2019s Andr\u00e9 \u2018D\u00e9d\u00e9\u2019 Fortin Award). She has performed over 400 shows before an enthusiastic and growing audience, including a performance on the Plains of Abraham during a historic evening with Les Cowboys Fringants at the 2023 Festival d’\u00e9t\u00e9 de Qu\u00e9bec.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In May 2023, Sara Dufour won the SOCAN \u201cCountry Music\u201d award. She then set off on a tour of China, sharing her latest album, \u201cOn va-tu prendre une marche?\u201d, with a new audience. This album won a F\u00e9lix Award in the \u201cAlbum of the Year \u2013 Folk\u201d category and earned her a nomination for \u201cFemale Artist of the Year\u201d at the 2024 ADISQ Awards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On stage, you meet someone authentic who makes you want to escape for a little while, or at least, to breathe in a sense of freedom for a moment. With her guitar in hand, she continues to blaze her trail with her folk\u2019n\u2019roll.
