FMG Gift Card Purchase Policy and Terms of Use

1. Description

FMG gift cards are issued electronically by the Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival (FMG) and may be used only at authorized Festival retail locations.

2. Use of the Gift Card

The FMG gift card is valid exclusively:

• At the official bars of the Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival;
• At the official FMG Merch Tent.

The gift card cannot be used:

• At the ticket office;
• At food concession stands;
• With exhibitors, vendors, or independent merchants on-site;
• For any other purchase not authorized by the FMG.

3. Purchase and Delivery

Gift cards are sold online and sent electronically to the email address provided at the time of purchase.

The purchaser is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided when placing the order.

4. Card Balance

The purchase amount is automatically deducted from the gift card’s available balance.

If the purchase amount exceeds the available balance, the cardholder must pay the difference using another accepted payment method.

5. Refunds

FMG gift cards are non-refundable, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be returned after purchase, except where required by applicable law.

6. Loss, Theft, or Unauthorized Use

The FMG is not liable for gift cards that are lost, stolen, accidentally deleted, or used without the cardholder’s authorization.

Gift cards should be treated as cash.

7. Validity

Subject to applicable laws, the value loaded onto the gift card remains available until it is fully used.

8. Limitation of Liability

The FMG reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or cancel a gift card in the event of fraud, misuse, or any activity deemed to be in violation of these terms and conditions.

9. Modifications

The Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival reserves the right to modify this policy and the terms of use at any time. Any modifications will be posted on the Festival’s website.
