Les Gars du Nord
Born of the windswept landscapes of Acadia and nourished by the warmth of country music, Les Gars du Nord is a group of seven close-knit artists: Wilfred LeBouthillier, Danny Boudreau, Maxime McGraw, Jean-Frédéric Lizotte, Nicolas Basque, Danny Bourgeois, and Mike Bourgeois. Together, they proudly represent a vibrant and festive Francophone community, with songs that blend authenticity, humor, and genuine emotion.
Since their formation, they have crisscrossed the country’s roads, gone on tour after tour, filled venues and festivals, and promoted Acadian and French-Canadian culture. Their latest album, “Les Années Tranquilles,” confirms their unique place in the musical landscape: a powerful blend of voices, harmonies, and stories that speak as much to memory as to celebration.
On stage, Les Gars du Nord deliver an electrifying experience where Acadian country blends with Celtic sounds. Their music brings generations together and reminds us that, no matter where we live, we all have “a little bit of the North” in us.
