Contest

The CONTEST is organized by the FMG – Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival. The CONTEST begins on August 5, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. and ends on August 11, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.

To enter the CONTEST, you must meet the eligibility requirements set forth herein, complete and submit the entry form available on the contest page no later than 11:59 p.m. on August 11, 2026. All required fields must be properly filled out, and the contest rules must be accepted for the entry to be considered valid. Only one entry per person is allowed for the duration of the contest. No purchase is necessary.

One (1) winner will receive a package for two people that includes two 5-day passes, two daily VIP passes for Friday, September 4, 2026, granting access to the KO-LAB VIP Terrace and the Rogers Front Stage, and one VIP parking pass for Friday, September 4, 2026. The prize also includes one (1) night’s stay at the Hilton Lac-Leamy on September 4, 2026; two (2) FMG gift cards, each worth $50, redeemable at the FMG Boutique and at the Festival’s bars; one (1) $50 gift card redeemable at the BBQ Shop concession stand on the FMG grounds; one $50 gift card redeemable at the Bistro Olivia concession stand on the FMG grounds, and a special opportunity to meet Patrice Bélanger and take a photo with him on Friday, September 4, with an approximate value of 1,160 CAD + taxes.

A random drawing will be held on August 12, 2026, during the day, from among those who have completed the Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival entry form. The participant selected in accordance with these terms will be contacted by email by a member of the Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival team. If the selected participant cannot be reached within 24 hours, another random drawing will be held. Once selected, the participant will be declared the winner, provided they meet all the conditions described herein and have complied with the Rules of Participation.

Subject to the conditions outlined herein, the CONTEST is open to anyone aged 18 or over, residing in Quebec or elsewhere, excluding employees, advertising agencies, or anyone directly involved in the CONTEST and the Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival, including employees, agents, or representatives and their immediate family members.

The CONTEST organizers are not responsible for incomplete or unclear contact information submitted by participants. An email address and phone number must be provided when finalizing the creation of the tickets in the system. The CONTEST organizers reserve the right to disqualify a participant if the required information is incomplete or contains human or technical errors.

By entering the CONTEST, the winner irrevocably authorizes the organizers and their representatives to use their name, photo, image, and/or voice in any media to announce that they are the CONTEST winner, without any form of compensation.

The winner will be notified via email with all relevant prize details. The prize must be accepted as described in these Official Rules and cannot be substituted for another prize or exchanged in whole or in part for cash, nor transferred to another person at the winner’s request.

No refund will be given for FMG tickets previously purchased by the winner, in accordance with the Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival’s ticketing policy.

The CONTEST organizers are not liable for any issues including, but not limited to, technical failures of phone lines or networks, computer systems, servers, online platforms, software, or equipment, or any other problems caused directly or indirectly by viruses, bugs, Internet congestion, or website failures. The CONTEST organizers reserve the right to modify or cancel the CONTEST at any time without prior notice.
